COLUMBUS, Miss., Nov. 5, 2025– Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle is among an elite group of five Mississippi hospitals recognized as top-performing hospitals within Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi’s Comprehensive Quality Model Program.
The Comprehensive Quality Model is a value-based performance framework that prioritizes patient safety, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, effective health information management and improved patient outcomes. Baptist Golden Triangle took the top spot in three of the seven award categories — Overall Top CQM, Sepsis Management and Cardiac Care — during Blue Cross & Blue Shield’s third annual Quality Forum.

Thirty-one Mississippi hospitals participated in the CQM program, demonstrating improvements in patient care statewide. According to Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi, trend data indicates hospitals are improving in the management of sepsis care, maternity care and cardiac care.
