FLY Girls Basketball is proud to announce its official membership with the Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce! As a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young female athletes, we are committed to developing student-athletes in grades 5th through 11th through basketball fundamentals, academic support, and leadership training.
Under the leadership of Director Tamara Tippett, FLY Girls has grown into a premier youth basketball program, providing young athletes with the skills, confidence, and discipline needed to excel in sports, academics, and life. Since its founding in 2021, the organization has competed in local and national tournaments, prepared athletes for college recruitment, and instilled a strong sense of community service in every player.
By joining the Chamber of Commerce, we aim to strengthen relationships with local businesses, expand community outreach, and collaborate with organizations that share our vision for youth empowerment. As a chamber member, we look forward to engaging with fellow business leaders, seeking sponsorship opportunities, and creating impactful partnerships that benefit both our athletes and the Columbus community.
