COLUMBUS LOWNDES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOST EDUCATION TOWN HALL NOVEMBER 18
COLUMBUS, Miss. - The Education Committee of the Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend Education Town Hall 5:30 pm Monday, November 18th, at the Courtyard Marriott in the Castleberry Ballroom. The Education Committee intends to continue the conversation on education in our community.
Local Legislators, Senators and Representatives will be in in attendance at the 2019 Education Town Hall. In addition, this event will also feature representatives from the Lowndes County School District, Columbus Municipal School District and Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.
Chairman of the Education Committee, Glenn Lautzenhiser, believes education is vital to our community and state. “Please come to the Chamber of Commerce Education Town Hall and interact with the members of our delegation and the decision makers from the schools and school districts. These are the people who will be making important education decisions affecting the future of our state and our community,” said Lautzenhiser.
Set to last from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the event is free and open to the business community. It will begin with prepared questions from the education committee, asked by Aundrea Self, the moderator, and end with open questions from the audience.
