CHAMBER MILITARY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE PREPARES CARE PACKAGES FOR ALPHA BATTERY 2ND 114TH FIELD ARTILLERY NATIONAL GUARD

COLUMBUS, MISS - The Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee has put together care packages for the Alpha Battery 2nd 114th Field Artillery National Guard. There are 25 service members in the Alpha Battery 2nd 114th Field Artillery National Guard branch from Columbus and Lowndes County. The care packages include letters from students in our community, a thank you note from the committee, toys, activities, hygiene products, notebooks, snacks, and candy. The Military Affairs Committee hopes that these care packages will show support and love for the deployed members from Columbus and Lowndes County’s unit of the National Guard. The donations that funded these care packages came from personal and business sponsorships from the MAC members.

PHOTO OPP: The Committee will be packing the care packages on Friday November 9th at the Chamber of Commerce office, 1102 Main Street, at 9:00 am. Please join us and get a great photo for the story.
